Sarcococca confusa also known as the Christmas Box or Sweet Box, is a relatively low-growing, evergreen shrub which produces clusters of cream flowers in mid winter. The fragrance is very pervasive and most people find it pleasant, but I think it smells like stale perfume - if brought indoors it can be overpowering. This species does not form suckers so is more compact than others.
