This is the site for Down Garden Services, a local provider of garden maintenance and design. During a quieter period one winter I started posting information on dealing with weeds and this led to covering other subjects which were connected to varying degrees. For example, many of the plants we regard as weeds have at some time had medicinal uses and some are aliens, brought here to treat an ailment and they are now naturalised.
There are some links to articles on the left, but the drop-down menus at the top of this page give a more comprehensive listing.
