Down Garden Services

This is the site for Down Garden Services, a local provider of garden maintenance and design in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. During a quieter period one winter I started posting information on dealing with weeds and this led to covering other subjects which were connected to varying degrees. For example, many of the plants we regard as weeds have at some time had medicinal uses a few culinary uses, some are aliens brought here for these reasons, and they are now naturalised.
